Pandemic Version II
It was back to the cold weather for 2021. Temperatures started at 29°F and rose to a balmy 35ׄ°F by ride end.
Our long-distance participants came from Texas and Seattle!
Tom Ballas took the top points placing with a commanding climbing style, while Eric Obergfell kept the pressure on with a few hill wins himself! Mark Dinkins rounded out the top three spots with a healthy point total. I actually got a point! Either the stars aligned or the cookies at the top of the previous hill kicked in and powered me up the hill.
Although the pandemic virus is still with us it was great riding as a group again, and I look forward to next year, Friday, Nov. 25, 2022, which will be year 13 -- A baker’s dozen hills in the baker’s dozen year!
